Dialogue Interculturel en Action
Building bridges between Romania and Guadeloupe through youth work and intercultural exchange
Project period: 2024–2025
Partners: EIVA (Romania) & Ankraj (Guadeloupe)
Funded by Erasmus+ KA210-YOU – Small-Scale Partnerships in the Youth Field

What is Dialogue interculturel en action?
Dialogue interculturel en action is a small-scale partnership project between EIVA and Ankraj, two grassroots youth organizations working in different corners of the world, Romania and Guadeloupe. Though thousands of kilometers apart, both organizations share the same goals: empowering youth, strengthening inclusion, and building meaningful learning experiences through non-formal education.
This project brings together youth professionals from both organizations to co-learn, observe each other’s practices, and develop new tools and strategies for more inclusive and culturally grounded youth work.
Project Objectives
- Strengthen the capacity of youth organizations to work across cultures.
- Promote intercultural learning through mobility and exchange.
- Support youth workers in working with disadvantaged communities.
- Foster sustainable partnerships and mutual project development.
Two mobilities, one in Romania, one in Guadeloupe, allowed each organization to host and share its methods. Youth workers had the chance to immerse themselves in the daily work of their partner organization, learning through observation, participation, and reflection.
